1214A | APPROX 20-40 YR OLD PERSIAN BELOUCHI HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' x 4'9'': This rug is uncommon due to the fact that the central portion of the rug is a knotted pile rug that is banded by flat-weave aprons on each end and a flat-weave side border as well. The outer band has eight pointed stars like the outer border of the pile portion of the rug. The other inner border has pin-wheel stars that really give a sense of motion circling around the beige field with its accents of red. The aprons of the rug consist of rows of arrows with smaller star bands in between. Condition is good. | 150 | |
