APPROX 20-40 YR OLD PERSIAN BELOUCHI HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 3' x 4'9'': This rug is uncommon due to the fact that the central portion of the rug is a knotted pile rug that is banded by flat-weave aprons on each end and a flat-weave side border as well. The outer band has eight pointed stars like the outer border of the pile portion of the rug. The other inner border has pin-wheel stars that really give a sense of motion circling around the beige field with its accents of red.
