CONDITION: One dragons tail with small spot of damage.

1005 Click for larger picture W.H. AYRES ENGLISH ROCKING SHIP LONG CASE CLOCK: Early 19th century, bonnet with broken arch pediment, central decoration, turned full column supports. Mahogany case with shaped front door, turned columns, on 4 carved legs. Painted dial with vignettes of lighthouses and battlements, rocking ship movement at top. Dial signed W. H. Ayres, Heckmondwike and was restored in 1997. 8 day time and strike movement with second and date dials. Key in office. Overall measures 97'' h. x 27 1/2'' x 11''. Sold with paperwork from Dixon & Dixon of Royal, New Orleans.
CONDITION: Craquelure to face, age split in several places, nicks to side. Holder for pendulum has bent and bell not attached. Cannot determine full functionality.

1006 Click for larger picture BOULLE INLAY ROSEWOOD VIENNA REGULATOR WALL CLOCK: A stunning example of craftsmanship, rosewood veneer case with boulle style filigree silver, brass and wood foliate motif inlay. Arched pediment with 3 turned finials, glass door with carved canted corners, inlaid columns with bone panels. 7 1/2'' porcelain dial with Roman numerals, pierced hands, foliate motif gilt metal bezel. 8 day single weight time only movement, matching serial number 8904 on back plate, dial mount and back mount. Illegible faint hand inscribed name on back plate. One of the finest examples we have ever offered. Overall measures 56 1/2'' x 17'' x 7 1/4''.
CONDITION: Minor veneer bubble at lower case, currently running however not guaranteed to continue.

Verso decorated with gilt chinoiserie genre motifs. Each panel measures aaprox. 106 1/2'' h. x 18''.
CONDITION: Occasional loss of decoration, minor craquelure.

1020 Click for larger picture APPROX 75-100 YR OLD TURKISH OUSHAK HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 11' X 12'6'': This lovely example of an Oushak rug has all the bells and whistles that you could ask for. The central medallion has a diamond shaped center done in colors that include pistachio green, salmon pink, peach, cranberry red, and a pale orange. It rests on a green/gold colored field that has salmon pink corners. These corners meld into the wide salmon colored main border despite the pale orange and pistachio green guard borders. This rug has a beautiful overall look that makes good Oushaks so desirable.
CONDITION: The rug has areas in the field that have been rewoven and the sides have been redone (by hand).

1040 Click for larger picture APPROX 75-100 YR OLD PERSIAN HERIZ HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 8'2'' X 10'3'': This beautiful rug has the traditional colors and design of a Heriz. A large geometric style medallion within a medallion done in colors that include a navy blue, pistachio green, brick red, salmon pink, white, yellow, and brown rests on a diamond shaped brick red field. There are navy blue and salmon pink corners, pale yellow guard borders and a navy blue main border. The overall composition of the rug is excellent.
CONDITION: Condition is good with wear consistent with its age.
