APPROX 25-45 YR OLD PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 9' X 12'': This pretty rug has a large round central medallion that looks like a stained glass ''Rose window''. The mainly dark and medium blue and red exterior of the medallion around the red and white interior stands out on the red colored field. Around the medallion on the field is a white vine that curlicues around other motifs all over the field. The white really stands out and gives a lot of interest to the design. The dark blue main border and light guard borders complete the picture. CONDITION: There is a stain/color change in one area on the field and some visible wear. |
