1255 Click for larger picture REYNARD, Grant, (American, 1887-1968): ''Pants All Sizes'', Scene in Ashcan Style, Oil on Masonite, 12'' x 10'', signed upper left, framed, 17'' x 15''. Reynard was an artist and illustrator, whose works have appeared in Saturday Evening Post, Harper's Bazaar and more. He studied art at the Chicago Art Institute and Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, then traveled to Europe to continue his study. He later traveled extensively teaching and lecturing. 800

Charles C. Grupp‚ comes from one of America's most respected families of artists. His grandfather, Charles Paul Grupp‚ (1860-1940), studied and painted in Europe until moving to Rochester, New York. His uncles, sculptor Karl (1893-1982) and painter Emile (1896-1978) were successful and widely recognized for their work. Charles's father Paulo Grupp‚ was a gifted cellist. He studied at Yale University and at Columbia, as well as at the National University of Mexico. He earned a Masters of Fine Art from Columbia University while on a fellowship there. He was also awarded a Fulbright Fellowship Grant and studied in Italy. 800
