1315 Click for larger picture DAVIES, Arthur Bowen, (American/Italian, 1862-1928): Man With Horse and Figures in Landscape, Charcoal Drawing, 10.25'' x 14'', estate stamp lower right corner, framed, 19'' x 22.25''. Davies gained a reputation for ethereal figure paintings, ones that expressed lightness and mysticism. He was also a principal organizer of the 1913 Armory Show that revolutionized American art by introducing modernism to the viewing public - AskART.
CONDITION: Several visible creases, some scattered staining, small tear in paper upper mid-margin, several spots of foxing, sold as is.
