1019 | APPROX 20-40 YR OLD PERSIAN DESIGN HAND KNOTTED SILK RUNNER, 1'9'' x 10': This lovely runner has a design that consists of a row of attached saw-tooth edged diamond shaped medallions on a deep blue field. On the sides of the field are half diamond shapes that have three star shaped flower heads inside. Each central diamond has alternating colors both within and next to each other. The red ground main border also has smaller shaped diamonds alternating with leaves. The overall effect is a beautiful piece of art that can be used under foot. Condition is good. | 450 | |

1026 | SEMI-ANTIQUE TURKISH HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG, 4' x 5'8'': This rug has a vibrant interesting design executed in clear bold colors that were well chosen and placed. The blue field of the center of the rug has two different shapes and sizes of alternating medallions whose primary colors are a tomato red and ivory. Some accents of peach, green, and yellow are also found in the medallions and the smaller motifs that fill in the field around them. The medallions are separated by a diamond shaped grid. In the border are found a very archaic design that was derived from the Chinese and usually called a ''cloud band''. These rests on a tomato red main border that has yellow guard borders on either side. Condition is good. | 650 | |
