Also, there is a signature cartouche found in the center of one of the guard borders on one end of the rug. The ivory field is covered with a profusion of many types and sizes of flowers with stems and leaves done in colors that include shades of rose, pink, green, blue, peach and beige. The borders colors range from a midnight blue ground main border to medium blues and red guard borders, all covered with more flower motifs CONDITION: The rug is worn and a little faded. |
